Tech giant Apple is the world’s most profitable company, with annual figures of $59.4bn per year, which works out at an amazing $1,883 every single second.
That’s almost twice as much as their fellow tech giants Microsoft and Google and works out at $112,999 per hour and $2.7m per day!

However, some of the world’s biggest companies still make fairly large losses too, especially when you consider how much they lose each second.
For example, the American conglomerate General Electric makes an annual loss of $22.4bn each year, which works out at $710 every second.
That means that in the time you’ve been on this page, they’ve already lost tens of thousands of dollars!
Tech firm Dell also lose $73 per second, while the Rolls-Royce luxury car brand is losing $101 each second.
