When it comes to pricing, Kounta offers four packages. The first one, Lite is the free option which is capped at only ten transactions and is not an option for most businesses. The second package is ‘Sell’ which is $50 per month and includes one device and access to just basic functions. The third is ‘Manage’ which is $100 per month and includes two devices and some additional features. The largest package comes in at $150 per month and allows 3 devices but gives you the full scope of all the features available through Kounta. Additional devices can be added at an extra cost of $25 per month. Kounta does not offer their own payment processing platform and charges for payment processing would depend on the company you choose to work with.

Although Kounta is completely cloud-based, it is not affected when the internet goes down and you will be able to carry on business as usual. All the information is stored in the cloud and the point of sales, front end is managed within a browser or an app if using a desktop. Downtime with the internet does not pose a problem as the transactions are queued and synced when the internet is back on. If you have integrated your credit card processor with your point of sales system it will not be possible to accept credit card transaction if you are offline.
