CashierLive offers free dedicated access to their customer support team and a free 14 day trial for you to try out, before you purchase. Their purchase plan is advertised at $75 per month per store. This covers unlimited registers and inventory. Payments can be made monthly but they do offer a discount if you pay on a yearly basis. No credit card is required for sign-up, and you may cancel at any time. Card Processing rates are 2.7% and they say that they can match or beat your current card processing costs, if you wish to change over to them.
Things To Note
You will not need to worry about new hardware as CashierLive works with traditional computer hardware and they offer a free iPhone and iPad app version of the software which is called Cashier. This app can scan barcodes, manage inventory, track customers and take payments. This mobile POS system can only be used with an active internet connections and does not allow you to work the point of sales system when you are offline. Your data is all saved on to the Cloud and can only be accessed through the internet. The benefits of having your data stored on the cloud server are that you do not need to invest in any backup hardware and your data is automatically updated. You also have the capability to access your data from anywhere at any time, as long as you have internet. The downfall is that if you do not have a decent internet connection, the point of sale system will not work when the internet is down.
