The store management software includes a time clock, cashier management module and allows managers to track their employee’s performance with real-time analytics. The system uses an easy to follow interface and gives retailers the ability to check their inventory, employee details and customer database, all from a single software interface. Free updates are included, and as long as you have an internet connection you can view all the management tools from any location, at any time.
CashierLive offers free dedicated access to their customer support team and a free 14 day trial for you to try out, before you purchase. Their purchase plan is advertised at $75 per month per store. This covers unlimited registers and inventory. Payments can be made monthly but they do offer a discount if you pay on a yearly basis. No credit card is required for sign-up, and you may cancel at any time. Card Processing rates are 2.7% and they say that they can match or beat your current card processing costs, if you wish to change over to them.
You will not need to worry about new hardware as CashierLive works with traditional computer hardware and they offer a free iPhone and iPad app version of the software which is called Cashier. This app can scan barcodes, manage inventory, track customers and take payments. This mobile POS system can only be used with an active internet connections and does not allow you to work the point of sales system when you are offline. Your data is all saved on to the Cloud and can only be accessed through the internet. The downfall is that if you do not have a decent internet connection, the point of sale system will not work when the internet is down.

CashierLive also offers a Pharmacy Management System which is only suitable for pharmacies in the US, as it follows the standards laid out by state laws.

CashierLive is an effective point of sales system that is specifically designed for the retail and service industry. If you have a pharmacy you will not be able to find a better POS system as they have tailor made a solution which complies with US pharmaceutical regulations. If you do not have a reliable internet connection then you might consider other cloud-based systems which have the capability to work offline.
CashierLive vs ShopKeep
The main benefit that ShopKeep offers is the ability to be able to use your point of sale even when the internet is down. CashierLive only stores your data on the cloud and you will not be able to have access to your inventory if you are offline. Both these POS systems use their own payment processing systems with CashierLive promising to match or beat any processing fees. When it comes to customer service, ShopKeep offers 24/7 phone support while CashierLive is only available during working hours. Prices are very similar with ShopKeep being slightly cheaper at $69 for their basic package in comparison to $75 which CashierLive charges per location. ShopKeep also caters for the food industry through their extensive point of sales software. CashierLive is primarily a retail point of sale system.
CashierLive vs Erply
Erply charges, start at $99 per month for one location and CashierLive is a cheaper point of sale system which charges $75 per location. The biggest differences between CashierLive and Erply are that the latter is more suitable for large multi-store enterprises and available worldwide whereas the former is favoured for smaller businesses and is only available in the US. Erply also offers hundreds of features and apps for the retail trade which can be purchased directly from their website. The ability to work offline is also a huge plus with Erply and there is no fear of being unable to run your point of sales when the internet is down.
CashierLive vs Revel
Revel is suitable for all types of businesses and can be adapted for both restaurants and retail stores. When it comes to price, Revel does not advertise their pricing system online, but reports have stated that their packages start from as much as $139 per month. Revel also expects their customers to sign a lengthy contract. CashierLive on the other hand has a flat fee of $75 per store and this is payable monthly without a contract which can be cancelled at any time. Revel also offers offline capabilities which CashierLive does not have. Both systems offer integrations with other software with Revel offering a better choice when it comes to point of sale features. Revel is available worldwide whereas CashierLive is currently only available in the US.
